Giving that extra push and movement in a recording is where the bass line can perform the idea of bass lead movement. This is where you will learn to really work with a bass line in order to give movement with the lead of the track. From Octave Basses to octave Basses the student will be able to decide which bass is right for him.
You will work with a three chord progression and design bass line patterns for the different parts of the chord progression. We will also do it for a root bass, octave bass, root & fifth bass, pentatonic basses, triadic basses, sixth and seventh basses & chromatic basses.
Create different rhythms of bass lines pertaining to style & genre.
Learn the different ways you can approach the writing of your track bottom up, top down or the chord progression.
